All of our teachers have been professionally trained and have successfully completed teacher training courses by UKA and/or Studio Afro Latino

Teaching with respect for the African origins of Kizomba, whilst exploring the influence of other dance genres and embracing the evolution of Kizomba dance.

A structured syllabus, designed to ensure dancers progress week on week.
Kizomba levels explained in order:

Level 1 'CONNECTION' - a foundation class in lead/follow techniques and timing, using basic steps with the aim of achieving connection to the music and unity of movement.

Level 2 'CONTINUITY' - focusses on developing smooth transition between basic steps and moves whilst exploring changes in tempo.

Level 3 'FLOW' - helps you to create flows in dance movement using more complex steps/moves, with improved musicality.

Level 4 'FLUX' - explores the influence of other dance genres upon Kizomba and embraces fusion

Our Kizomba 'Connection', 'Continuity' and 'Flow' classes are founded on the principles of traditional African Kizomba. Our 'Flux' class is more European in its perspective.

Our Kizomba classes are also aligned with the official UKA syllabus giving dancers if they wish the opportunity to take UKA graded dance exams.

Proud to be teaching Kizomba in MK & the South Midlands since 2010.

Safe, illuminated free, on-site parking for up to 120 cars with security !

The post-code (MK18 1EG) will take you to Hunter Street from where you take the main University entrance (on left if coming from Buckingham town centre). If the barrier is down, press the 'Security' button and mention the Latin Lounge. Go through the barrier and immediately turn right (ignoring car park directly ahead). A short distance on, cross the river via a narrow bridge and turn right into the car park.
When you leave the car park on foot, continue straight ahead for a short distance (passing the bridge you drove over on your left) - simply follow the Latin Lounge signs!
Exit by car via the reverse route. On leaving the campus, the barrier raises automatically.
